Keeping myself busy and practicing during the winter months is essential to my growth as a photographer.  I love to use my daughter as my model during those times when I am between sessions and during a lull in my schedule.  This keeps me fresh and allows me to try new things that I otherwise don't have the opportunity to do during my normal schedule.  It also allows me to test out different processing techniques.
