{My Selfie Self Journey}

I have to say that I am extremely fortunate to have surrounded myself with some pretty amazing men and women.  Some are photographers and some are not but they are all a wonderful support system and some of the most positive people you ever want to meet.  I have been blessed to be a part of a small exclusive group of photographers that I love to lean on for support and to offer my own support and advice if needed.  These women are amazing and it is so wonderful to draw inspiration and strength from this group.  One of the projects in our group is self portraits.  Ever since giving birth to my daughter and gaining 40 pounds I have shied away from being in photographs.  Lately I have been saddened by how I am missing from everyday images.  I don't want my daughter to grow up and not have any remembrance of her mother.  So, I decided that enough is enough.  I am going to start making an effort in being in more photographs with my family.  This is just the start of my Selfie Self Journey.

It's easy to keep waiting until we're not looking so tired, lost some weight, have our hair fixed thus and so. Then the years fly by and you realize that you were just fine as you were. Good for you putting more of yourself into the photos!

P.S. Could I pin this? I think it's a great story, but do not want to infringe anything.

You're welcome! The iPad is difficult for this. I'll pin it tomorrow and then give you the links.
